House Spending and Amount Raised: Post-Election 2005-2025
Democratic House candidates had record high spending and fundraising this year, compared to other House election cycles since 2005. The latest campaign finance reports include the first look at complete financial activity in the last week before the election through November 28th.
Note: Only includes Republican and Democratic candidates on the November ballot. "Amount Raised" is the total of cash, in-kind and loans reported by all committees controlled by each candidate. This excludes any money transferred between committees controlled by the same candidate, to prevent double-counting donations. Amounts adjusted for inflation. Amount raised and spending cover Jan. 1 of the year before the election, through the post-election deadline in late November each year.
