Small Donors for House Races

The share of money raised by House of Delegates candidates from small donors remains near its lowest levels this year, compared to the same point in past elections. Non-incumbent Democratic candidates continue to have the highest percentage of donations from small donors, though the level has fallen from its peak in 2017.

Notes: "Small donors" includes unitemized cash contribution, as well as itemized cash contributions from donors who gave less than $100 during the election cycle. Only includes Republican and Democratic candidates that qualified for the November ballot, and only includes contributions made to the candidates' primary campaign committee. Includes contributions starting one year before the election through June 30th of the election year.
