Back to School 2025: Home Schooling

In 2020, Virginia saw a large drop in public school enrollment, and a corresponding increase in homeschooling. The latest data shows that homeschooling continued to increase in the 2024-2025 school year, though it has not returned to its pandemic high. Meanwhile, public school enrollment has declined in recent years after a brief rebound in 2022-2023.
