  Matters: I will be lobbying on behalf of Wild Virginia on all things related to improving habitat connectivity (for both terrestrial and aquatic species) and protecting water quality to counter climate change, the prevention of species extinction, and in defence of the health of our communities and ecosystems in Virginia. Topics will also include the below:-Strengthening habitat connectivity through increased wildlife crossings and corridors (funding, WCAP, crossings design and implementation)-Protecting water quality by preventing the release of forever chemicals, like PFAS-Limiting the environmental harms of natural gas pipelines-Providing educational and outreach for decision makers on behalf of the general public to protect the wild places they love-Smart development of the human built environment (roads, data centers, etc.) to create balance with the natural environment-Wildlife/fisheries biology, habitat protection and management, road ecology, land use and conservation
