Your Blueprint for Impact: Navigating Virginia's Next Chapter with VPAP

This session empowers Virginians in teaching, learning, and leading roles—from teachers (grades 6-12) to division leaders and adult learners—to understand and influence state and local government. Participants will learn Virginia's political landscape, from elections to lawmaking, and develop skills using VPAP's nonpartisan Civics Navigator. We'll use the 'My Civic Engagement Plan' to guide personalized action. The session includes introduction, interactive VPAP tool exploration, and hands-on application. Dynamic interaction through live polls, Think-Pair-Share, and Project Zero thinking routines will foster engagement, enabling attendees to apply knowledge and advocate for education policy to shape Virginia's future.
