Summary

As Introduced. School boards; classes, courses, and programs of instruction; parental notification of course registration required.

Requires each school board to develop and implement, by the start of the 2026-2027 school year, policies requiring each public elementary or secondary school in the school division to provide, at least 30 days prior to the finalization of registration of any public elementary or secondary school student in any class, course, or program of instruction and before the class, course, or program of instruction begins, parental notification by email or SMS text message to the parent of each student in the public elementary or secondary school of each class, course, or program of instruction for which such student is registered.
