As Introduced. Virginia Self-Service Storage Act; disposal of abandoned personal property in certain cases; definitions.
Creates a process by which the owner of a self-service storage facility may dispose of the personal property of an occupant of a leased storage space when such personal property has been left in such leased storage space or on the property of the self-service storage facility following the termination ... (More) or nonrenewal of a rental agreement, provided that such noncompliance did not involve a failure to meet any financial or monetary obligation. The bill also clarifies that an occupant's last known address may be updated pursuant to a specific method as may be required by the terms of the rental agreement. (Less)-
