Summary

As Introduced. Cyberstalking; penalty.

Makes it a Class 6 felony for any person who on two or more occasions within a 90-day period engages in cyberstalking by sending an electronically transmitted communication, defined in the bill, directed at another person with the intent to place, or when he knows or reasonably should know that such conduct places, that other person in substantial emotional distress or in reasonable fear of death, criminal sexual assault, or bodily injury to that other person or to that other person's family or household member or intimate partner.
