Summary

As Passed House of Origin. Department of Education; review of high school student athlete eligibility requirements; report.

Requires the Department of Education, in collaboration with the Executive Committee of the Virginia High School League (VHSL), to review and make recommendations on revisions to the residency requirements established by the VHSL for participation of high school student athletes in high school athletic teams for the purpose of ensuring such requirements are aligned, to the maximum extent practicable, with the residency requirements for the enrollment of students in public schools in the Commonwealth.
