Derelict residential buildings; civil penalty.
Summary
As Passed House of Origin. Derelict residential buildings; civil penalty.
Allows certain localities to impose a civil penalty not exceeding $500 per month on owners of derelict residential property that have not submitted a required plan to renovate or demolish the derelict structure. The bill prohibits the total of such fee from exceeding the cost to demolish the building.-
